Love My New Kindle Cover! I was soooo excited when I got my first ebook reader, way back in 2008. When I look at it now I find it hard to see why I loved it so much. Compared to the latest generation Kindle it was slow, clunky and felt massive!
Now though I have got my paws on the smallest Kindle yet (their 4th generation wi-fi only model). Buying the version with ads was an absolute bargain at only $79. But, the only problem with such a low price tag is that I makes it pretty hard to justify spending much on a new
Kindle 4 cover!
So that ruled out buying the lighted leather case that amazon themselves produce. As much as I love the new slim-line design and the muted autumnal colors of the soft leather, paying nearly as much for the case as I did for the reader itself just seems a little silly (even though I did really hanker after the built in light!).
After a lot of searching I ended up with the Duragadget Flip Stand case. it's just as lightweight, and the leather is pretty similar quality, but at around a third of the price it is way more economical. And, whilst it doesn't come with a light built in, you can always buy a cheap light separately to clip onto the reader. But the reason I really truly madly love my new Kindle cover is that it is baby pink AND it stands my eReader upright which is just brilliant when I'm reading at the breakfast table! Cool...
